About the Doctor

Dr. Gio Venittelli, Optometrist

Gio Venittelli, OD - Temecula, CA Dr. Gio Venittelli, optometrist, relocated to Temecula in 2004. Gio and family moved from Orange County. He has 20 years of experience in the eye care industry. His practice, TEMECULA CREEK OPTOMETRY, opened in September of 2005 and features an unparalleled selection of designer frames and sunglasses. He and his staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality eye care in a personal, friendly, and compassionate environment.

Dr. Venittelli grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and attended the University Minnesota for his undergraduate work. He received his doctorate from Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. He graduated Summa Cum Laude.

For seventeen years, Dr. Venittelli practiced Optometry at a large medical group of 75 physicians in Long Beach, California. Dr. Venittelli has a special interest in eye disease detection and management, an interest fostered over the many years of working closely with ophthalmologists. He yearned to leave corporate health care and to have a practice of his own in an area with a small-town feel. Temecula offered the perfect opportunity.

Gio, his wife, and 2 college age daughters love south Temecula. They live in Crowne Hill. Mary, his wife, teaches English at Chaparral High School. Gio enjoys playing softball on Thursday nights in Temecula with his men’s team, playing piano, cycling, skiing, tennis, and long walks with his wife and 2 dogs.
